The glossy finished PSM-2 is one of the latest
enhancements to Keri's
Pyramid Series Proximity line of OEM readers,
cards, and tags for access control.
The ISO thin PSM-2 has a nominal thickness of just
0.031 inches (0.8 mm). In addition to meeting ISO
thickness standards, dealers will appreciate the PSM-2’s
special gloss finish producing crisper dye sublimation
images.
The PSM-2 is thin and light enough to carry in a
wallet. It supports dye sublimation printing from
edge-to-edge, making it ideal as a corporate photo ID
card. The card can also be configured with magnetic
stripes, bar codes, and even smart card modules.
Users have found the PSM-2 with high coercively
magnetic stripe useful in systems that are magnetic
stripe based, such as cafeteria vending and automatic
fueling. They also find them convenient in access
systems, upgrading from magnetic stripe to proximity.
Within the Pyramid Series Proximity line, the PSM-2
may be used interchangeably with any other Keri
credential or reader, including the
P-300 Cascade Reader, the
P-400 Gibraltar Reader, the
P-500 Alps Reader,
P-600 Rocky Reader and Keypad
and the P-700 Yukon
Reader. The Pyramid
Series readers are all single piece design, offer
lifetime warranties and industry standard Wiegand™ or
magnetic stripe interfaces, and feature potted weather
and vandal resistant construction, as well as optional
HID compatibility.
